Nuneham Viaduct

Work on Nuneham Viaduct on the 12th of April. Engineers have worked around the clock to safely reopen Nuneham Viaduct, in Oxfordshire, a day early, on Friday 9 June, following an intensive ten-week programme of work.

The railway line was closed for safety reasons on Monday 3 April after significant movements in the viaduct were detected, despite recent ground stabilisation work. Nuneham Viaduct crosses the River Thames between Culham and Radley.
