Parkeston Goods Junction
On its return from Norwich to Stevenage, UK Railtours excursion, now hauled by 66765, took the opportunity to visit the Harwich branch via the Manningtree North to East curve from the main line. This detour included some rare track sections, which involved several reversals and took about 90 minutes to complete. This is the first with the excursion train on the Parkeston Goods Loop, looking east, on 27th May 2023. The Manningtree to Harwich Town passenger line is on the right.
