Buxton

GBRf 66707 draws its train of empties from Hams Hall to Hindlow into Buxton Up Relief Sidings, whilst DB 66181 at the head of its train of limestone waits for the points to be cleared so it can continue its journey from Dowlow to Toton. The area to the left was once the site of Buxton LNW steam shed. The two vans belong to the travelling shunters whose duties include facilitating the run-round operations and brake test before the trains can depart both at this site and other sidings in the Buxton area.
