Wickham Market
755403 with the ex-15.06 service from Lowestoft to Ipswich calling at Wickham Market on 3rd May 2023. Wickham Market itself is a full two miles away while the station is in the hamlet of Campsea Ashe. It has been reduced to one platform, the former northbound, following the singling of the line between Saxmundham and Woodbridge. See image 69856. It was originally the junction for the Framlingham branch that closed to regular passenger traffic in 1952 although occasional special passenger workings for visitors to Framlingham Castle ran until the complete closure of the branch in 1965.
