Daresbury

Although Daresbury, on the Warrington to Chester line, closed in 1952 the platforms are still intact as is the staircase on the Warrington bound platform. The bricked up entrance to this is clearly visible from the pavement. The station is in the village of Moore, but was called Daresbury to distinguish it from Moore station on the WCML, around 400 yards away on the road that can be seen here.
