Midcalder Junction
On 24th March 2023 many WCML Glasgow services were reversing at Midcalder Junction because of the Carstairs closure. However, this Trans Pennine Class 397 on 1S38 Manchester Airport to Waverley passed through as normal, passing Scotrail 2Y52 (385028) on a Glasgow Central to Edinburgh waiting at the junction.
