Niddrie West Junction
Ongoing remedial work at Niddrie West on the morning of 8 June 2018 following a local subsidence problem. The up line remains closed between here and Niddrie South, with the down line, on which the container train is currently held, subject to a major speed restriction. It would be almost another week before work was fully completed and traffic began to return to normal
