Stepney Green
As if any proof is needed that the District Line at Stepney Green - shared with the Hammersmith & City Line - is a shallow cut-and-cover subway and not a tube line, all that is needed to get from platforms to street are a set of steps. No need for long escalators nor modern contraptions like travelators. These are the eastbound platform steps, on 4th March 2023.
