Cirencester Watermoor

This picture encapsulates the difficulties which would have to be overcome to restore services from Cirencester to Andoversford. The town ring road and a short section of suburban road are behind the photographer; there is a quarter mile of almost straight and level Old Railway Line, as the sign puts it, ahead. Then there is a school built over the trackbed; then a skate park; then a bridge would have to be built to carry Kingshill Lane over the railway; which would then need a longer bridge over the A417, and maybe a level crossing over London Road. It gets easier after that, thank goodness.
