Lydney Junction
This could be a scene from seventy summers ago but is actually 4th July 2015, a very warm and sunny Saturday, with ex-GWR class 4500 2-6-2T 5541, built at Swindon in 1928, just arrived at Lydney Junction with a Dean Forest Railway train from Parkend. This locomotive was designed by George Jackson Churchward (1857-1933).
