Chester
As Merseyrail electrics leave Chester they pass the DMU Depot. This was used by Alstom for many years but in June 2022 was handed over to CAF who will maintain the, eventually seventy seven strong, Class 197 DMUs now being delivered to TfW, as well as the existing Class 175s. Several new 197s were stabled on the depot on 1st February 2023.
