Cameron Bridge [1st]

A 1964 map extract showing the layout at Cameron Bridge at that time. I was surprised to find the old Muiredge branch cut back but surviving. The sidings in the goods yard are dead end. Were those on the branch used for running round and storage? My speculation is that this persisted until closure of the Leven passenger service and singling, then all operations could be concentrated north of the river with track layout adapted.
