Hillside [Southport]
Hillside is an LMS station dating from 1926 and so doesn't have the L&YR canopies that are a feature of nearby Birkdale. I'm not sure where the name of this Southport suburb came from as apart from a few dunes on the golf course the area seems completely flat. 508141 pulls away from the station, heading for Birkdale and Southport, on 15th March 2023.
