Dunfermline Nethertown [1st]
Looking east over the Lyne Burn towards Grange Bridge (Elgin Street). From 1812 a waggonway branched off the Elgin Railway south of Crossford and passed along the banks of the burn, turning sharply to the left here to serve Nethertown 1st station. It was replaced in 1821 by a new line and station a little to the north which survived until 1959 as a goods depot.
