Reedley Hallows Halt

156429 hurries past the site of Reedley Hallows, a railmotor halt between Burnley and Brierfield that opened in 1906 and closed fifty years later. It was a small wooden structure to the right of this bridge but no trace remains. Beyond the railway bridge the road rises slightly to cross the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The private house on the right of the picture was formerly the Reedley Hallows Hotel.
