Dundee Ward Road

The site of Dundee Ward Road seen in 1998, 137 years after its closure, in a view looking north east over Ward Road. The station site is now occupied by Telephone House, between the left side of this view and church on the right. Trains for Newtyle were hauled up the Law Incline from the station. Out of shot on the left were sidings in Lord Airlie's stone depot and out of shot on the right was a small yard from which a street level horse operated tramway continued down to the Earl Grey Dock.
