Alyth Junction

View south west over the main line at Alyth Junction with the goods yard to the right and station behind the camera. There was a single siding on the left beside the high bank. The goods yard dated from the days when the station was called Meigle, before the Alyth branch and its Meigle station opened. In the distance the line from Newtyle flew over the main line before curving round on the right to meet the Alyth branch.
