Newport-on-Tay East
A Metro-Cammell DMU in wintry weather at Newport-on-Tay East in December 1968. The station had become the terminus for local services from Dundee after the closure of the line east to Tayport, that having come about with the opening of the Tay Road Bridge in 1966. The loop was taken out in 1967. The branch closed altogether in 1969.
