Royal Albert Bridge

The view from the rear of the 1A69 0835 Penzance to Paddington service crossing the Royal Albert Bridge from Cornwall into Devon behind 1061 'Western Envoy' on 12 April 1974. Plymouth Signal Plan was ongoing with re-signalling work taking place so the Paddington trains were running through with no attaching or detaching of coaches at Plymouth which was normal practice at this time and most of the 1970s until HST were introduced.
