Thornton Scrapyard
In 1974, former Wemyss Private Railway 0-6-0T No.17 (Andrew Barclay 2017 of 1937) awaits rescue from Muir's Yard, near Thornton, by the Strathspey Railway. On the left, WPR 0-6-0ST No.15 (AB 2183 of 1943) has also been preserved.
