Grunburg
On the 760mm gauge Steyrtalbahn in the summer of 1970, 1898-built 0-6-2T 298.52 arrives at Grünburg with an afternoon service from Molln to Garsten. The railway was at that time part of the OBB network, and remained so until eventual closure in 1982. The section from Steyr to Grünburg was not lifted, however, and reopened in 1985 as a 'Museumsbahn', with a fine collection of vintage locomotives, including the one in this photograph.
