Bolton-le-Sands [LC]
View south at Chorley's Bridge, Bolton-le-Sands of a frozen Lancaster Canal on 12th December 2022. Just beyond the bridge the two narrow boats are moored at a pontoon, which is one of several installed between Lancaster and Carnforth for a short-lived waterbus service. The pontoons and other facilities are still in place but unfortunately the service has not run for several years now.
