Newcastle Central
Although heading south towards Castleford via the Durham coast, 47812 prepares to leave Newcastle with the 'Northern Belle' via the King Edward Bridge. Top and tailed with 57313, the opportunity was presented to compare the sounds of the different power units. Call me old-fashioned but I'll go for the Sulzer engine every time. With only a minute to departure some of those on the platform clearly aren't paying due attention!
