'S S Glencloy' leaves Lock 9 at the top of the Dunardy flight and enters the summit pound of the Crinan Canal, heading towards Ardrishaig in July 1960. The large wheelhouse of the Glencloy was added part way through its working life. The summit level is only just over half a mile long before the descent to Loch Fyne begins. Photo by G H Robin.
