Johnson's Hillock Locks [LLC]
This is now the head of water on the old Walton Summit branch of the Lancaster Canal southern section, a mere 300 yards from the foot of the Johnson's Hillock locks on the Leeds and Liverpool 82863. There was a bridge here by the same name but that is long gone. This stretch may be short, but it is not officially navigable and so a very peaceful length of waterway.
