Eglinton Dock
The 'MV Glenshira' at Ardrossan. prior to a sailing to Stornoway in July 1959. This is reported to be the first diesel powered coaster built for the West Highlands, launching at Bowling in 1953 and designed to be able to use the Crinan Canal, which it would do on this trip.
