Leeds

View from an excursion heading west after passing through Leeds in 1988. The parcels sidings on the left of the picture have since been given over to passenger use again and were electrified for the Airedale services. Leeds station was formed in 1938 by the merging of Leeds Wellington (1846) on the left and Leeds New (1869) on the right to form Leeds City, simply called Leeds after 1967.
