Ulbster

Opened in 1903 by the Wick and Lybster Light Railway, the single platform station at Ulbster was equipped with basic goods facilities, comprising a siding and loading bank. The north end of the former siding is seen here in the summer of 2007 complete with a selection of old tyres. The converted station masters house stands in the background and the remains of the passenger platform can be found over to the left (see image 16728).
