Bay Horse
The National rail strike on 21st June 2022 meant that the Shap Harrisons to Tuebrook stone train, which usually runs in the night, operated during the afternoon. The loaded train is seen in Forton cutting behind celebrity GBRf 66794 in BR Railfreight grey livery. The train will be split at Tuebrook and tripped in two portions to the Edge Green terminal, on the old GCR Haydock branch near Golborne 75977.
