Dovecotland Junction
47710 heads north out of Perth past Dovecotland Junction in 1990. The remains of the Highland Railway shed are on the right. To the left was Earlsdyke Mineral Depot which was previously the Glasgow Road terminus of the Scottish North Eastern Railway, also used for a time by the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway. Glasgow Road was also the site of the ticket platform for southbound trains entering Perth General.
