Capernwray Arm

Just to the north of Bridge 133 on the Lancaster Canal is the Capernwray Arm, a short branch off the canal that once afforded direct access for boats into a now disused quarry. This is the junction of the Arm with the main part of the canal, which continues beyond towards Tewitfield. The branch now has moorings for pleasure craft.
