Kentish Town West

View from 378 230 with a London Overground service from Stratford to Clapham Junction on the Hampstead Junction Railway viaduct of 1860 across the rooftops of north-west London, crossing Prince of Wales Road looking east, as it arrives at Kentish Town West in scorching heat on the afternoon of Saturday, 6th August 2022. The original station opened in 1867, made entirely of wood and latterly rich in dusty unused waiting rooms but it was burnt down by brain-dead vandals in 1971. For ten years, trains passed the site before the present station opened in 1981.
