Errol

A southbound train approaching the level crossing at Errol, midway between Dundee and Perth, in November 2006. The DMU has just cleared the platforms of the closed station (indicated by the footbridge in the background). Errol Station was opened by the Dundee and Perth Railway in 1847 in a hamlet located a mile and a quarter north of the village itself. It was closed by BR in 1985.
