Broadley
Although Broadley closed to passengers in 1947, and completely in 1952, the platform is almost completely intact. Much of the old Bacup to Rochdale branch is now a public trail, which opened in 1972 just five years after the last Whitworth goods train left. This view looks down the 1:60 gradient towards Rochdale with the Healey Dell viaduct about 400 yards away.
