South Hampstead

378233, with a London Overground Euston to Watford Junction service, emerging from tunnel and arriving at its first stop at South Hampstead on 15th June 2013. This station opened in 1879 as Loudoun Road for Swiss Cottage and was renamed in 1922. The disused platforms on the WCML are out of view on the right (see image 67931). Just above the tunnel portals in the background runs the Chiltern Line to and from Marylebone without a station here, so no interchange facilities.
