Kingsway Tram Subway
View down the ramp to the northern portal of the old Kingsway Tram Subway at Southampton Row in Holborn, central London, on 22nd December 2015. It lasted less than half a century in service from 1906 until 1952 but the tram tracks are still 'in situ' all these decades later as a silent memorial to London's once vast but now sadly lost original tram network.
