Elderslie
Polmadie's A2 No 60535 'Hornet's Beauty' is in charge of a shorter than usual mail van empties train as it approaches Elderslie from the Johnstone direction on 17 September 1964. The home signal on the east end of Elderslie station was difficult to read, as witnessed by both members of the loco crew stretching out of the cab to see it.
