Catford

700001 to London Blackfriars calling at Catford station in south-east London, in pouring rain on 16th February 2019. This now rebuilt station opened with, and gave its name to, the Catford Loop from Nunhead to Shortlands on 1st July 1892. Situated on a viaduct, it is a short walk from Catford Bridge station on the Charing Cross to Hayes line (see my photo, image no. 81237) which is in a cutting to the right but there are no direct interchange facilities.
