Birkett Tunnel
34067 'Tangmere' heads the Northern Belle 1Z87, 14:19 Carlisle to Telford Central, on 23rd April 2022. It is approaching Birkett tunnel on a very windy afternoon. I chose the cutting as the trees form a windbreak preventing the exhaust from blowing down which it did seconds later.
