Kirkham North Junction
156452 joins the single line branch to Blackpool South at Kirkham North Junction on 29th March 2022. This view is from the Tarnbrick bridge carrying the A583 Preston Blackpool main road. The branch was singled many years ago but there are recurring attempts to reinstate a passing loop at St. Annes to allow the service frequency to be increased beyond the present limit of one train per hour.
