Gretna Green
A Glasgow Central - Carlisle DMU about to call at Gretna Green on 6 November 2007. As can be seen, redoubling work on the 8 mile Annan - Gretna section was underway at this time, with the project scheduled for completion by August the following year. Meantime a northbound service is being held on the other side of the road bridge in the background waiting for the single line section to clear.
