Galgate

156484 runs ecs through the site of Galgate station heading for Lancaster to take up a Cumbrian Coast diagram on 8th March 2022. The elevated station, with a limited service, couldn't compete with regular buses on the main road and closed in 1939. All traces were cleared prior to the 1974 electrification but there is still a driveway and access point for track maintenance staff and vehicles 74286.
