Loanhead
Booking office refurbishment underway at Loanhead on 6 March 2022! The old railway building is now part of a private domestic property. The tall structures on the other side of the trackbed are the remains of the Ramsey Colliery, which closed in 1965 (now an industrial site). The last ticket was issued at Loanhead prior to official closure in May 1933.
