Gatebeck Powder Works [South]
I was immediately struck by the similarity between this old office building (now a private house) at Gatebeck Powder Works and its counterpart at Kames Gunpowder Works near Tighnabruaich 64418. The main line of the Gatebeck Tramway crossed the river just behind this South Works site building and continued to the North Works site. The works closed in 1937.
