Parbold
Northern Pacer 142063 had just departed from Parbold with a Southport to Manchester Victoria service when it was photographed on 31 March 2012. Ten years on and the signal cabin is still in use controlling the block sections with Burscough Bridge to the west and Wigan Wallgate to the east, two level crossings and a trailing crossover with a mixture of semaphore and colour light signals.
