Highways England please note: it is possible to reinforce a bridge over a disused railway (just by Castle Eden station, out of sight beyond the bridge on the left) so that road traffic can pass overhead (on the B1281 Stockton Road) and ramblers and cyclists can pass underneath. Frankly, it looks like theres room for trains here as well. Perchance to dream.
