Goathland

The road to Goathland, some two miles south of the village in 2012. Directly ahead is the abandoned bridge that carried the original Whitby and Pickering Railway prior to its rerouting in 1865. The photograph is taken from a point below the bridge that now carries the line. For the view from above showing the two bridges see image 28461.
