Elephant and Castle

LU 1972 stock, now the oldest trains on the Underground having finally achieved their 50 years of service, waiting to depart for Queen's Park from the Bakerloo Line's southern terminus at Elephant & Castle, on 14th January 2022. The Northern Line platforms at this station closed on the following day along with the section from Moorgate to Kennington, to allow for a massive rebuilding of Bank station, and which will not reopen until May 2022.
