Barton and Broughton
87002, on a test run from Crewe to Carlisle on 14th January 2022, during a scheduled stop in the Barton and Broughton Down Loop. LSL crew members disembarked and examined the rake of MkIII 1st Class coaches and DVT during the stop. Various railtours with this loco and stock are advertised for 2022, including the 'Electric Scot' to Glasgow on 26th January and 'The Clansman' to Inverness on 26th/27th February. 195119 passes the scene with a Barrow to Manchester Airport service.
