Blackpool North Pier
The diesel tram on the North Pier at Blackpool only operated from 1991 to 2004 but in 2021 the station at the landward end is still declaring 'Take the Train to the end of the Pier'. As it was only 250 yards long it was little used, although it did mean that the pier theatre could be reached undercover in inclement weather. Plywood boards still cover the tracks and so, in theory, the line could reopen but this seems unlikely.
